A WOMAN was arrested after being found drunk in charge of a child in Newport McDonald's — then staged a dirty protest in her police cell.
Lorraine Stanley, 53, of Culver Parade, Sandown, was then charged with criminal damage, specifically for "spreading her faeces in the hatch and under the door of a police cell", on April 6.
She was ordered to appear in front of Isle of Wight Magistrates on April 22, and granted bail, but failed to appear at the appointed time.
She was then charged with failing to surrender to the police/court bail.
Her case was eventually heard on May 5, and she pleaded guilty to all three charges. The court heard that the child was aged under seven years old.
