ISLE of Wight police discovered a stash of cannabis plants at a Freshwater property. 

Cowes Neighbourhood Team officers were called to the scene at the weekend, over concerns someone had been cultivating the plants.

Officers attended and searched the property, and a large number of cannabis plants were located. 

A man has since been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.
