THE frontage of a popular Ventnor pub has been painted blue and yellow in solidarity with Ukraine.

The Crab and Lobster Tap, off Grove Road, recently held a fundraiser.

More than £400 was raised and given to UNICEF, for children of Ukraine.

The owners have since had the frontage of the shop painted in the colours of the war-torn country.

"Not much support, is it?" said a spokesperson for the business. 

"Nevertheless, we have expressed our support for their battle. 

"A big shout out to Ian Balson for his decoration skills, and we hope to see you all soon."
