I understand that there are comments on social media to the effect that the likely closure of Neutrik (UK) Ltd’s Ryde factory has nothing to do with Brexit.

Really? I wonder what those who are about lose their livelihoods thought when they read their employer’s statement?

Business is good, it seems: "… rapidly rising levels of demand …" but there are: "… recruitment and supply chain complexities …" which decodes as work permit difficulties, customs paperwork and delays (i.e. additional expense) which now hinder the smooth movement of products between their operations in the European single market and Ryde.

As the evidence of the economic damage begins to mount up, I wonder how long it will be before at least some of those who thought Brexit might be a change for the better begin to doubt what they heard from the Leave campaign?
