EMPLOYEES at Neutrik in Ryde are fearing for their jobs after being told a consultation process is underway and production could be moved off the Island.
The County Press understands the entire workforce at the premises at Westridge could be under threat.
In September 2020, there were 95 people employed at the site.
One staff member told the County Press the company has put everyone at risk and all staff are now going through a consultation period.
He said: "We won't know any more until that is over."
Another said: "All production in the UK is being moved to mainland Europe, with Bulgaria most likely."
The County Press has contacted Neutrik for a statement.
Neutrik is an audio and visual connection manufacturer.
UPDATE: Neutrik has confirmed proposals to relocated the operation to Europe.
