HAVE you seen the restored Britten-Norman Islander G-AVCN yet?
There's another chance thanks to the Britten-Norman Aircraft Preservation Society's spring viewing day today (Saturday).
The historic aircraft will be on show at the Wight Military and Heritage Museum’s St George’s Day open day.
Admission is free and all are welcome to attend.
BNAPS will have its restored Islander G-AVCN on view in the museum together with an exhibition and other attractions in the nearby Mess Bar.
The exhibition includes information displays about the history of Islander G-AVCN, video show of the restoration project, Islander flight simulator, aircraft models and artworks and a demonstration of how an Islander is controlled.
BNAPS merchandise will be on sale.
The museum is on the Cowes to Newport Road at Northwood next to the Isle of Wight County Showground.
It will be open from 10.30am to 2.30pm.
