A LINE-UP of stars has been announced for Robin Hill's Woodland Sessions 2022.
Singer Russell Watson, comedian Russell Kane, Sigma and the Bootleg Beatles are among the acts set to perform during July and August.
After a successful debut last year, it was recently announced that The Woodland Sessions would be returning to Robin Hill this summer, with five shows billed as “exceptional talent in an exceptional setting.”
Woodland Sessions Comedy kicks off the summer series on Friday, July 15, with popular TV comedians Russell Kane, Marcus Brigstocke, Angela Barnes, and Suzi Ruffell.
Woodland Sessions Party on Saturday, July 16, sees the return of Rhythm Of The 90s, with dance covers and party starters.
On Friday, July 22, Beatles tribute show The Bootleg Beatles make their Isle of Wight debut at Woodland Sessions Icons, complete with a strings and brass ensemble and 40 years of international sell out shows behind them.
Woodland Sessions Dance on Friday, August 12, brings back memories of Bestival’s past at Robin Hill. World renowned drum and bass act Sigma have been at the forefront of the UK scene for over ten years, attracting stars such as Take That, Paloma Faith, and Rita Ora to lend their vocals to their hits, whilst Dimension is at the forefront of a new wave of dance music headliners.
The summer series bows out with Woodland Sessions Classical on Saturday, August 13, with an intimate show from one of the world’s very best classical singers, Russell Watson.
He was described by the New York Times as a performer 'who sings like Pavarotti and entertains like Sinatra'.
