A brand-new sweet shop has opened in Shanklin.
Visitors to the Isle of Wight seaside town will easily spot Candies, because it is candyfloss pink!
It is filled with jars filled with childhood favourites and a large tuck shop.
As well as treats for Islanders, the shop also plans to sell Isle of Wight-made products, including homemade cakes, ice cream, fudge and traditional seaside souvenirs, to tempt the tourists.
Owner, Matt Larcome, who started a sweet delivery business during lockdown, said: "I had always dreamt of opening a proper old-fashioned sweet shop.
"When I noticed the shop was to let back in January I decided to take the plunge and start this new business."
Candies is based on Falcon Cross Road, Shanklin.
