Parkdean Resorts, the UK’s largest holiday park operator, has announced a cash injection of more than £2.8m into its Isle of Wight parks.
Seven additional new caravans will be added at Nodes Point; 32 caravans across the four resorts will be upgraded; and, at Landguard Holiday Park, 11 lodges have been refurbished.
The operator says it is part of its biggest ever investment programme, in which £140 million is being spent nationwide.
On the Island, it will also provide park-wide Wi-Fi capability.
Meanwhile, Islander and survivalist Bear Grylls has partnered with the brand.
In 2022, Parkdean will offer young visitors the chance to join Bear Grylls’ Survival Academy.
They will be 'shipwrecked on a desert island after a terrible storm' and must navigate home, relying on supplies washed ashore.
