A NORTHWOOD man will walk 100km around the Island in the name of peace, freedom and justice to raise money for a Ukrainian charity.

Hugh Harrison, 71, will be taking on the IW Ultra Challenge between April 30 and May 1.

To prepare for the challenge Hugh averages 14km a day in training.

Hugh said: “Everyone is aware of the constant terror, suffering and loss that millions of men, women and children are experiencing due to the cruel and savage Russian invasion of this sovereign nation.

“Please help me raise vital funds for these courageous men and women who are defending their lives, homes and sovereignty.
