MEET the latest admission into the RSPCA Isle of Wight branch’s wildlife unit!

This tiny fox cub was found on Monday (March 28) by a concerned member of the public, who initially thought it might have been an orphaned kitten.

After advice from the RSPCA Isle of Wight team, it was clear that no vixen was coming to collect the cub, so he/she was admitted into the animal charities wildlife unit.

The team at RSPCA have been bottle-feeding a little cub at regular intervals.

The cub is doing very well, but they need the company of their own kind, so he/she will be transferred to the expert care of the RSPCA West Hatch Animal Centre in Somerset, where they already have several in care of similar age.

A spokesperson from RSPCA Isle of Wight said: "If you think you have found an orphaned fox or badger cub, it is crucial to act quickly and get the right advice.
