THERE are currently 47 people in St Mary's Hospital with Covid-19, the latest data shows.
Numbers of hospital patients with the infection have risen sharply in recent weeks, since March 9.

The rise in hospital numbers coincides with a rise in numbers of confirmed Covid cases on the Isle of Wight.
The rolling rate, although five days behind the daily data, is a high 1,317 (UK rate 877.8).
In the past seven days alone, 1,841 people have been confirmed with Covid on the Island.
There were also two deaths reported this week.
