St Mary's Hospital in Newport has recorded another death of a patient who had contracted Covid-19.
It means 399 Islanders have died after getting coronavirus, since March 2020, of which 239 were in hospital.
The most recent death was recorded on March 22.
It is the second Covid-19 linked death to be recorded by the Isle of Wight NHS Trust this week, as the County Press reported.

What is the Isle of Wight's current Covid rate?
There have been more than 1,900 new cases of coronavirus on the Island in last last week. Most were recorded using lateral flow tests, because the government has removed the need for a PCR test to confirm that result.
From next week, under its 'Live with Covid' plan, PCR and LFT tests will no longer be free for most people in England.

In the seven days to March 18, there were 1,288.9 cases per 100,000 people on the Isle of Wight. The rolling UK average was 862.5.
