Hampshire Constabulary has issued a warning after an Isle of Wight teenager was caught on a hired E-scooter.
Users must be aged at least 17 years old to use the Beryl scooters, which are available across the Island.
A driving licence is also required to use them.
On Twitter, police said: "A reminder for anyone using rental E-scooters that you must be aged 17 or above and have a driving licence.
"You cannot allow others to use your account, particularly if they are aged under 17."
In December, the firm revealed that it was actually older users who most frequently opted to hire a motorised scooter.
