WOODS Kitchen in Godshill will close in May, as the owner bids farewell and moves onto pastures new.
The popular restaurant will stop taking regular bookings at the end of April, ahead of closing night on Friday, May 6.
Woods Kitchen was first opened on August 23, 2018, taking over the former site of The Essex pub in the heart of Godshill.
Teri Woods, owner of Woods Kitchen, will be opening a new restaurant/bar at the new Goddard’s brewery site in Arreton.
Posting on Woods Kitchen Facebook, she said: “We are still at the build and fitting stage, so we are looking to be open sometime in June.
“I will post full information on our Facebook page once we have definite dates.”
From 7pm, on Woods Kitchen’s closing day, Teri is hosting a farewell night featuring entertainment from an ABBA tribute act and a four-course dinner inspired by tastes of the Mediterranean.
