Support for Ukraine saw people from the Isle of Wight gather in Newport on Sunday, holding Ukrainian flags, ribbons, flowers and placards.
It was part of a global day of action for peace.
Organisers say forty people met in St James’s Square.
There were speeches and two minutes of silence, in respect of the victims of the war, which started around a fortnight ago.
Among those to attend were Ukrainian nationals, from cities now destroyed by the Russian attacks.
