WITH Storm Eunice approaching our shores, a flood warning has been issued for the Isle of Wight coast.
Parts of Cowes, East Cowes and Newport will flood, says the Environment Agency.
The midday tide will be higher than normal. Storm Eunice is also expected to bring severe Gale Force 9 south-westerly winds and large waves.
It means conditions will be 'very dangerous' with 'significant risk of accident'.

For one hour, either side of high water, seafront roads, esplanades and car parks are expected to flood.
Road flooding will affect the Esplanade and The Parade (Cowes).
Road flooding will also affect Albany Road, York Avenue, Castle Street and Well Road (East Cowes).
The Environment Agency says flood protection should be in place.
Footpath flooding is expected at The Quay, Newport.
The ferry terminal at Yarmouth is also expected to flood.
The Isle of Wight Council has stocked sandbags and has issued advice on flooding, sandbags and other safety concerns.
