The Isle of Wight is gearing up for the arrival of Storm Eunice tomorrow (Friday), and winds of up to 100 mph.
The national Met Office has issued an amber warning for wind, for between 3.00am and 9.00pm.

Wind speeds of 60-70mph are widely expected, with gusts of 80mph, and some reaching 90 to 100mph around the coast.
The strongest winds will be between 7.00am and 2.00pm, says the Isle of Wight Council.

Travel
Expect disruption, with Red Funnel's Red Jets and Hovertravel already hit by strong winds, even before the arrival of Storm Eunice.
Flooding
The Environment Agency has issued guidance on coastal flooding, though its main warning is aimed at people living in the south west of England.
Islanders, however, can expect large waves and strong winds, though the Isle of Wight Council says the overall flood risk is low.
High tides at Cowes on Friday are at 2.12am and 11.46am.
We are warned to stay away from the coast.
Sandbags
Isle of Wight Council says sandbags will be fully stocked at the normal locations.
