The Floating Bridge is back in service between Cowes and East Cowes, after its latest absence.
The chain ferry over the Medina river went off on yesterday (Saturday) afternoon, due to what the Isle of Wight Council called a 'a minor technical issue'.
It was due to return to service 'mid-morning' today (Sunday) but a message confirming it was running again was posted to Twitter at about 1pm.
A Jenny boat ran for foot passengers while it was off.
