THE much-maligned Floating Bridge is out of action yet again.

The bridge was taken out of service this afternoon (Saturday) due to 'a minor technical issue', the Isle oof Wight Council has said on social media.

A message posted on the Isle of Wight Council's official Twitter account said the ferry would be out of action until mid-morning tomorrow (Sunday).

A replacement launch service is running for foot passengers and cyclists, while motorists will need to drive via Newport.
