POLICE have arrested three people after two people were threatened with a knife and had money demanded from them in Sandown yesterday (Sunday).
Police were called at 1.11pm to reports of a robbery on the High Street.

This led to investigations in and around the derelict ocean hotel, with police dogs on the scene.
The two people who were subject to the knifepoint robbery are believed to be children.

At least one of the individuals is thought to have had a knife, and the incident culminated with a girl's coat being slashed.
The three people arrested have been released from custody but remain under investigation.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: “Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident.”
