EMERGENCY services have responded to a road traffic incident involving a tractor near Newport this morning (Saturday).
The accident happened between the junctions of Merstone Lane and East Lane on the A3056 main road between Blackwater and Arreton at around 12.15pm.
The accident, a tractor trailer overturning as it appeared to be turning into Merstone Lane, has caused major traffic disruptions along the route.
No one was injured.
The vehicle has been recovered.
