WESTRIDGE vaccination centre is closed for walk-ins today (Friday), with just Newport and Riverside clinics continuing its walk-in service.

NHS Hampshire, Southampton and Isle of Wight CCG are anticipating high levels of uptake next week, and therefore the decision was made to stand down today’s Westridge clinic.

New walk-in clinics at Westridge will be available on Wednesday, January 5 and Thursday, January 6, from 8.30am – 6.30pm on both days.

The Riverside Centre clinics are still open for walk-ins today, until 8pm.

Tomorrow (New Year’s Day), a clinic will be open at Riverside from 8am – 3pm.

The third booster was made available to anyone over the age of 18 who received their second vaccination at least three months prior.

Today marks one million booster jabs being delivered across Hampshire and Isle of Wight, which includes over 80% uptake on the Island.

More clinics, dates and times will be released in the new year.
