THE Floating Bridge will be out of service again for a time this morning (Friday), after coming back into service on Monday (December 20) following months side-lined.

A replacement pin will be fitted and secured tomorrow morning, which will halt service for approximately two hours.
An Isle of Wight Council Spokesperson said: "The vessel will be temporarily suspended after the busy morning period, between 10.15am and 12.15pm."
Cllr Karl Love said: “It’s just unbelievable and unacceptable.”
A launch service for passengers and cyclists will be in operation.
The Floating Bridge returned on Monday, one week later than planned, after being out of service since August.
The Christmas timetable should be followed as usual, after the repairs are complete.
The video below shows the Floating Bridge fully functional the day after its return, on Tuesday, December 21.
