THE two car crashes at Arreton in the early hours of this morning appear unconnected.
Police say they are "in touch with" both drivers involved, who both sustained minor injuries, and enquiries are ongoing.

The first crash happened at 3.16am today (Sunday) and was a single vehicle collision on the A3056 near Downend Road.
The driver and passenger sustained minor injuries after the car ended up on its roof (see picture).
The second incident happened just over an hour later, at 4.20am.
It was another single vehicle collision on the A3056, this time near the Newport/Sandown cycle path traffic lights at Arreton.
The driver had collided with a communications box and live cables were left exposed.
The driver sustained minor injuries.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "Officers are currently on the scene and have set up a cordon. The road remains open.
"We are in contact with BT engineers to make the area safe."
