A patient at the Isle of Wight's hospital died after contracting Covid-19, on November 30.
The death at St Mary's Hospital means 196 people have now died on the wards since the start of the pandemic.
A further 146 people have died in non-hospital settings, since March 2020.
In yesterday's update, 118 more Islanders had tested positive for coronavirus and the rolling rate, per 100,000 people in the seven days to November 26, was 567.8.
The UK average was 438.9.
The rolling rate and new case data for today (Thursday, December 2) will be updated this afternoon, along with details of how many paitents in the hospital have Covid-19.
