MEET this week's feline friends who are all looking for their forever homes.

If you are considering bringing a new pet into your home, adopting a cat from a rescue centre will give them them a second chance at having a happy life.

All of these kittys are currently in the care of Feline Welfare. More information about the cats and how they can be adopted can be found on their website.

Frank

Isle of Wight County Press:
Age: Four years

Frank loves attention, head bops and tummy rubs especially, but needs to be the only pet with no young children in a safe area.

Frank was rescued from the tip, where he was found in a plastic bag at just four weeks old however, he was a confident boy with no fear factor.

Unfortunately, two years ago, he was involved in a terrible car accident. He had severe back end injuries and as a result had one back leg amputated and the other back leg fixed with metal plates and rods.

After treatment and recovery, Frank became withdrawn and afraid in his home. He found a quieter home just down the street, in which he settled quickly.

However, over the last couple of months, Frank has become dominant with the cats who were already in the home and it is pushing them out.

He's looking for a quiet home with no other pets or children. He will make someone an incredible companion and friend.

Daisy

Isle of Wight County Press:

Age: 18 months

Daisy is looking for a quiet, loving, safe new home as the only pet, and with no young children.

She is struggling in her present home with three other cats and two very young children, and is getting upset.

She is looking for love and a much quieter life.

Daisy is dearly loved by her present owners, so it is all very upsetting for all concerned, but they have reached this decision so this dear little one can feel happy and settled in a caring new home.

Bella

Isle of Wight County Press:
Age: 1-2

Bella is believed  to be about 18 months, or maybe two years old.

She came to the centre with an appalling skin condition, with a heavy flea and worm burden.

It is not thought her skin condition will be a problem in the future if she has regular and reliable flea control.

She has tested negative for feline leukeamia and FIV, she has been spayed and microchipped and is about to start her vaccination primary course.

This little one is now looking for a loving, safe home as the only pet, with access outside eventually via her own cat door.
