Around fifteen trees were reported down to Island Roads on Sunday, along with power lines in Gatcombe Village Road, which required a road closure, and cables in Ferncliff Road in Sandown.
Island Roads has revealed what incidents were logged during the stormy weather and described the day as "very busy".
There were reports of blocked paths and roads from Chale, Whippingham, Porchfield, Newport and Sandown and everything in between.
Dave Wallis, the contractor's operations and maintenance manager, said: "I would like to thank our staff and contractors who were working in some pretty unpleasant conditions in order to keep the network safe and open.
"Thank also to the members of the public who reported highway incidents to us."
