Tonight's meeting of Isle of Wight Council cabinet members has been postponed, due to a positive Covid-19 lateral flow test.
A future date is yet to be confirmed, but it will be later this month.
County Hall said a 'precautionary and sensible' decision was taken.
The close contacts of the person who reported the test are now being contacted.

Among the matters that were due to be discussed were the controversial Ryde Interchange project, awaiting a decision over whether it will go ahead.
Also on the agenda was a wish list of plans by Southern Vectis, including a bus lane at Coppins Bridge in Newport.
The future of Chillerton and Rookley school remains in the balance - councillors were due to decide on whether a public consultation should be launched.
Councillors were also expected to decide on whether or not to launch a Floating Bridge 6 review.

John Metcalfe, the council's chief executive, said: "This decision has not been taken lightly, but with safety of councillors, staff and the public at the forefront of our minds."
