A GATHERING of golden retrievers was enjoyed by the dogs and their owners on Ventnor beach.
The annual event is in its tenth year.
A good turnout of between 35 to 40 goldies and about a dozen other breeds made for quite the spectacle.

Goldie owner Sandy Hartley said: "This is the tenth year of the goldie gathering, although unfortunately we were unable to meet last year due to the pandemic.
"It was great to meet up with so many old friends and their dogs and particularly lovely to welcome so many new friends this year.
"It was such a joyous sight to see all our lovely goldies frolicking happily on the beach together."
Jill Keith, of Niton, said: "It was such a lovely get-together for the dogs and their owners, and not a cross word among them!"
Another meeting is being planned for the Spring, as it was so enjoyable.
