East Cowes play area fire put out with buckets of water
A fire near the play area on East Cowes Esplanade meant a call out for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service last night (Tuesday).
A crew from East Cowes was called to a small fire just after 7pm.
Two buckets of water were used to put out smouldering grass and shrubs.
They were on the scene for around 20 minutes.
