IT WAS a call-out with a difference for Freshwater Fire Station last night (Monday).

They had to remove a casualty's finger from a vape tube after it got stuck.

The crew posted on their social media pages: "We’ve dealt with some odd entrapment shouts over the years but last night was a first, a finger wedged in a metal vape tube.

"The moral of the story, don’t put your finger in unless you’re sure it’s gonna come out!"

They posted a photo of the vape tube as a warning to others.
