Two flood alerts are in force on the Isle of Wight this lunchtime (Tuesday).

After yesterday's heavy rain, and more overnight, there is surface water in places today.

A small amount of water is overlapping in the usual place in Newport - on the road outside the Bargeman's Rest pub.

While most areas will not be too badly affected, says the Environment Agency, it has issued alerts for parts of Gurnard and at the Eastern Yar, at Wroxall.
