Based in Cowes, Bagshots secured the win after creating a bespoke kitchen, which kept true to the traditional feel of the property whilst incorporating the client's maritime background into the design.
The project involved installing a fresh kitchen, including an island and a window seat, creating a high quality and cosy family space.
Bagshots also designed it in 3D, so the client could 'walk around' it before it was even built.
Frank Deer, director, said: “We’re very excited to win. It will have a major impact for our business.
"The client used to be a skipper of a vintage yacht that used to sail around the world and wanted something maritime, so we introduced a scarf beam into the kitchen like you’d see on an old yacht."
Jason Orme, editorial director at Homebuilding and Renovating Magazine, said: “This project was the outstanding one for us because we had to really recognise the great relationship between the builder and the client.
"That’s where things really happen in terms of kitchen design where you’ve got an engaged client and an engaged builder willing to push them the extra mile.”
