A VENTNOR man has been fined more than £600 after failing to identify the driver of a Volkswagen Passat caught speeding in Exeter.
Julian Lang-Jones, of High Street, had his case heard in his absence at Bodmin Magistrates' Court on Saturday, September 25.
The 44-year-old failed to give information relating to the identification of a driver, on June 14, 2021.
A further offence of speeding was withdrawn.
The charge related to an incident in Devon, wherein a driver was caught by a speed camera on Cowley Bridge Road, exceeding the 30mph speed limit.
For the offence of failing to provide information relating to the identification of the driver, Lang-Jones was fined £660 and ordered to pay costs of £90 and a £66 surcharge.
His driving record was endorsed with six points.
