Fire in Ryde sparks emergency callout

Two fire crews from Ryde Fire Station were called to the scene on Slade Road at approximately 10.09am. 

They were responding to a report of an overheated cooker, and took steps to clear smoke from the property. 

Of the two teams called, one stood down en-route. 

The incident has concluded and no injuries have been reported.
