Isle of Wight duo with a difference Wet Leg have released a new single —Wet Dream.
June 2021 saw the arrival of the two-piece, Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chamber, with their storming debut single Chaise Longue, which has clocked up over three million streams and nearly one million video views.
Now they are ready to unleash their new single, a two-and-a-half-minute slice of exuberance as unforgettable and buoyant as their debut single.
Teasdale explains its origins: “Wet Dream is a break-up song. It came about when one of my exes went through a stage of texting me after we we’d broken-up, telling me that he’d ‘had a dream about me’.”
Having already become one of the most talked about bands at this summer’s Latitude, Green Man and Isle of Wight festivals, Wet Leg quickly sold out their own forthcoming headline shows in London, Glasgow, and Manchester.
They are confirmed to be playing at this year’s Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris and Amsterdam’s London Calling.
A full UK tour 2022 is due to be announced soon.
