BEER lovers will be in their element next weekend — at Brewed In The Bay.
Over the would-be Beer and Buses weekend, October 8 to 10, and also coinciding with Hullaballoo Lite at Browns, Sandown's Boojum and Snark are staging a very special weekend.
It will feature beers they have brewed on-site at their High Street premises using their electric BrewMagic Kit.
The selection will include Boojum (British IPA featuring British hops and heritage malt), Lacemaker Saison (packed full of coriander, pink peppercorns, star anise and ginger), Dubbel Trouble (a dry dubbel style beer that has been fermented with barrel blocks and bourbon), Candy Lager (a lager that features the addition of pineapple, think old-fashioned boiled pineapple cubes), Bitter Secret (a pale ale made with kviek yeast and Nelson Sauvin, Victoria Secret hops).
There may also be a double dry-hopped IPA as well, and there will be craft ciders including local Grazed Knee.
Tracy Mikich, of Boojum and Snark, said: "Brewed in the Bay gives us a chance to showcase some of the range of beers we have been brewing over the last year.
"It has been a difficult task opening a craft beer taproom during a pandemic and we are extremely grateful to all our loyal supporters and visitors who have kept us going.
"We have exciting plans for the future and look forward to contributing to the regeneration of the Bay area."
Opening times are Friday and Saturday 11am to 10pm, and Sunday 11am to 8pm.
