A bottled water station has been set up in Newport, after water supplies were lost in homes near Staplers Road.
Southern Water engineers are working to fix a burst main.
Tankers are also in the area and are delivering extra supplies to the network.
A bottled water collection point is open in Godric Road, while those registered on the utility firm's Priority Service Register are getting water delivered.

It has been affecting supplies in homes in Cowes, East Cowes and Gurnard overnight and the firm warned repairs may take some time due to their 'complexity.'
