His music is part of the fabric of pop music.

With more than 100 million albums sold worldwide, an Oscar, Golden Globe, four Grammy Awards, the Ivor Novello PRS for Music Special International Award and more, expect mega-hits including Endless Love, Lady, Truly, All Night Long, Penny Lover, Stuck on You, Hello, Say You, Say Me and Dancing on the Ceiling (among many, many more).

Ok, so this won't come as a surprise as Lewis announced himself for 2022 when he was unable to make Seaclose Park this year.

The Brit Awards' Best New Artist of 2020 has written a new album in the interim.

Muse

Muse is Matt Bellamy, Dominic Howard and Chris Wolstenholme.

Their last album, Simulation Theory, debuted at number 1 and marked the band’s sixth straight album to debut in the UK top spot.

Their previous studio album, Drones, went on to win a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album.

Selling over 20 million albums worldwide, Muse are widely recognised as one of the best live bands in the world.

They have also picked up two Grammy Awards, an American Music Award, five MTV Europe Music Awards, two Brit Awards, ten NME Awards and seven Q Awards.

Kasabian

Returning to Isle of Wight Festival in 2022, Kasabian have five UK number 1 albums to their name and have sold over 5.5 million albums worldwide.

They’ve won a Brit, seven NME awards, and four Q Awards.

Blossoms

Since their musical breakthrough in 2016, Blossoms have evolved from being hotly tipped upstarts toone of the most beloved, respected acts on the circuit today.

Their 3rd studio album ‘Foolish LovingSpaces’ released in January last year reached number one in the UK Album Chart.

They released their self-titled, chart-topping album five years ago.

Since then, the Stockport five-piece band have toured the UK and world, and have been nominated for a Brit Award and the Mercury Music Prize.

On Instagram, the band said: "We’re happy to announce that we’ll be playing on Saturday 18th June 2022."

Nile Rodgers and Chic

Sure one of the hardest working bands ever, Nile Rodgers is a music legend.

He returns to the Isle of Wight Festival in 2022.

A producer, singer songwriter and more, he crosses the generations and promises a host of singalong anthems.

His work in the CHIC Organization and his productions for artists like David Bowie, Diana Ross and Madonna have sold over 500 million albums and 75 million singles worldwide.

His hits also include trendsetting collaborations with Daft Punk, Avicii, Sigala, Disclosure, and Sam Smith.

Nile Rodgers & CHIC recently released their first new studio album, It’s About Time in over 26 years.

Rudimental

Mercury prize nominees and Brit and MOBO award winners Rudimental bring a slew of hit collaborations, featuring Anne Marie, Becky Hill and Ella Eyre.

Happy Mondays

Happy Mondays formed in 1980, in Salford, Greater Manchester.

The original line-up featured Shaun Ryder as well as Paul Ryder, Mark Day, Paul Davis and Gary Whelan. Mark ‘Bez’ Berry later joined the band on stage, during a live performance after befriending Shaun Ryder.

Rowetta joined the band to provide backing vocals in the early 1990s.

Their first official release was in September 1985 and the rest, as they say, is history.

Mavis Staples

Mavis Staples calls herself a messenger.

The 80 year old is described as a 'once-in-a-generation' artist whose impact on music and culture would be difficult to overstate.

She in both the Blues and a Rock and Roll Hall of Fames, a civil rights icon, a GRAMMY Award-winner, a chart-topping soul/gospel/R&B pioneer and marched with Dr Martin Luther King, Jr.

She performed at John F. Kennedy’s inauguration, and sang in Barack Obama’s White House.

She’s collaborated with everyone from Prince and Bob Dylan to Arcade Fire and Hozier.

The Proclaimers

While 2020 saw Craig and Charlie focusing on writing for their studio album recording, the brothers are everyone's singalong favourites.

You won't have to walk 500 miles - just check them out on our doorstep in 2022.

And there's more! The Coral, UB40, The Vaccines, Sigrid, Shaggy and ex Beautiful South alumni Paul Heaton and Jaqui Abbott are also due at Seaclose Park.
