Bad weather hits Isle of Wight travel and power
We're waking up to gale force winds and rain across the Isle of Wight this morning (Monday).
The Isle of Wight Met Service says the worst impact will be until 11am.
The local weather forecaster warns of gusts up to around 50 mph.
It says there may be debris from trees and surface water in the road.
Travel
Hovertravel was off this morning but services will resume at 9.15am from Ryde and 9.30am from Southsea.
Power
A power cut has hit parts of the Isle of Wight thig morning.
It went off at about 2am and is expected to be restored by midday, said supplier SSEN.
