JAMES Bond: No Time To Die will finally hit cinemas at midnight on Thursday, September 30.
In 2019, keen-eyed 007 fans caught sight of a naval ship and helicopter landing in conjunction with filming off the coast of the Isle of Wight.
Two years later, after being delayed three times due to Covid, audiences are set to witness Bond's latest adventure.
Cineworld in Newport is preparing to accommodate keen Bond fans for its midnight release on Thursday, and seats are still readily available to book for the first international viewing.
Many more seats are available for other viewings during release day.
At Leo Leisure Commodore Cinema in Ryde, there are multiple screenings in the first week of release, including a 00.01 showing on Thursday.
No Time to Die’s running time is reportedly a whopping 163 minutes, making it nearly a full hour longer than the shortest Bond film, Quantum of Solace.
Daniel Craig will reprise his role as the iconic secret service agent for the final time.
The expected plot of the film will be set five years after Bond’s last outing in Spectre, with the retired agent called back into action and several familiar faces making a return.
Family run business, the Eversley Hotel in Ventnor, accommodated the crew during their Isle of Wight filming.
When the County Press scrutinised the occasion, Karen Stritton, from the Eversley, said: "I could tell you all about it, but then I'll have to kill you."
