MEDINA Theatre will host a concert to remember and celebrate the lives of Ray and Rosemary Scovell.
Ray and Rose were popular and much-loved Island individuals who committed their lives to sport and arts.
Ray was also a well-known figure in the Island’s athletic communities and was responsible for bringing events, such as Parkrun, to the Island.
Sadly, in January, Ray lost his life after contracting Covid-19, and tragically, just two weeks later, Rose also died.
• Tribute to Sandown community member Rosemary Scovell
• Ray Scovell — family man who never stopped helping others
Because of the restrictions at the time, only a limited number of people could attend their funerals.
The concert, organised by The Ray and Rosemary Scovell Trust, is set to celebrate Ray and Rose’s lives through their favourite music and tributes from people and organisations that knew them best.
The Ray and Rosemary Scovell Trust, set up in their memory, support under 21s in sport, drama and music.
The concert will take place at 7.30pm on Sunday, November 21.
Tickets are available to purchase in person from the 1Leisure Medina reception and online by clicking here.
