Dedicated runners will be racing around the Island in a bid to win the title in what has become an epic annual race.
On Saturday, September 25, parents and friends of Brighstone Primary will race against Nine Acres Primary along a challenging 68-mile course.
The race begins and finishes at Isle of Wight Pearl, where Team Brighstone will relay one way around the Island and Team Nine Acres the other.
The charity event has been going for six years, but sadly this will be the last one — the association has announced.
'Round the Island relay' is organised by the Brighstone School Association, which raise funds to support children’s education and happiness at Brighstone Primary School.
This year runners will be raising money for new play equipment, with any extra funds going towards a new outdoor classroom.
