One person has been injured in a crash in Ryde this afternoon (Tuesday).

The collision involved two vehicles and blocked Playstreet Lane.

It happened close to Ryde Academy sixth form.

Hampshire Constabulary were called to the scene at 12.51pm.

Isle of Wight police said one person had suffered a minor injury.
