It is five days until Age UK Isle of Wight's fundraising powder run!

The 2km challenge, at Porchfield Cricket Club, will see fundraisers of all ages taking on an obstacle course through a powder rainbow, on Saturday September 25, from 2pm.

Elisha Leachman, Age UKIW’s Fundraising Manager, said: “We are so excited for this year’s Powder Run!

She said: "Our colour course is going to be brighter than ever, we offer traditional old school obstacles inclusive for all ages and abilities.

"We hope you will join us in running (or walking!) through our rainbow of powder whilst helping to raise some much-needed funds your local charity.

"Every penny we raise stays on the Island, and will help Age UK Isle of Wight to support our older Island residents.”

A dog show, bouncy castle, funfair and bake sale will also be taking place.

It is £10 for adults and £5 for children and the charity says a small amount of additional sponsorship is also welcome.

Organisers say there is free entry and free parking and it is supported by NFU Mutual Isle of Wight, Red Squirrel Property Ltd, Biscoes Solicitors and Red Funnel.
