September is always a special time of year for parents, as it marks the start of a new school year and as proud parents, we love to take pictures of our children as they start a new year, or school.

This week, our favourite photo was sent in by Meghann Richardson from St Helens, who sent in our main picture (above), which features the children of Meghann and her sisters.

Between them, the four sisters have seven children going to St Helens Primary School.

Meghann said: "We nearly have one in every year of St Helens Primary between four sisters."

We have got lots of brothers and sisters and even a pair of twins - and they all look happy to be going off to school - make sure you scroll through the gallery to see their big smiles!
