The Bargeman’s Rest (around 1.1 miles from Isle of Wight Festival site)
The Bargeman’s Rest is a quaint Island pub situated alongside the River Medina in Newport Harbour and is a regular favourite for festival-goers year on year.

The Bargeman’s offers three different options when it comes to their All Day Breakfasts. ‘The Tug’, ‘The Barge’, and ‘The Titanic’.
All are served with locally scourced pork sausages, smoked bacon, free-range fried egg, grilled tomato, mushrooms, baked beans, and your choice of either fried bread or toast. The difference is, one is served with a single pork sausage, the other with two, and the other with three - no prizes for which option the latter is named.
If you are not feeling quite that peckish, there are plenty of options for a lighter breakfast, or brunch, on their menu.
Open from 10.30am across the weekend, The Bargeman’s Rest boasts an impressive selection of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan friendly choices. Their table ordering app is available for both android and iOS.
