The Royal British Legion on the Isle of Wight is making an urgent appeal for volunteers.
It needs Islanders to join its Poppy Appeal team in Bembridge, the West Wight Shanklin, Ventnor, Seaview and Nettlestone.
Helpers are needed to prepare boxes of poppies and to distribute them.
Support is also needed to hand out Poppy Appeal merchandise to outlets on the Island, collect them afterwards and assist with counting donations.
The funds raised by the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal support veterans and their families.
To help, you do not have to be a member of a Royal British Legion Branch, or the Royal British Legion itself.
A spokesperson for the appeal said: "Any time you could spare to help this very popular and worthy cause would be so much appreciated and of enormous help, raising much needed funds."
