A man has been charged after three people were assaulted.
A RYDE man has been charged with assaulting three people at an address in Newport.
Tyler John Cairns, 26, of George Street, has been charged with two counts of assault by beating, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm and appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court yesterday.
A police statement from Hampshire Constabulary confirmed: "We were called at 11.46pm on Thursday, September 9, to reports of a disturbance at an address on High Street, Newport, after a 25-year-old woman was assaulted.
"A 50-year-old woman and a 23-year-old woman were also assaulted in the incident."
